Designing Video Slideshows with Canva

Turn your photos into engaging videos using Canva’s built-in editing tools.

This beginner-friendly workshop is designed for photographers, artists, and storytellers who want to create dynamic video slideshows using their own still images.

Participants will learn how to build a video from scratch using Canva’s drag-and-drop templates, animations, music, and text tools. This workshop will guide you through each step of the process to showcase a photo series, build a social media reel, or craft a visual portfolio.

We’ll cover:
• Setting up your video project in Canva
• Customizing templates with your photos, text, and colors
• Adding animations and music to enhance storytelling
• Syncing your video to a beat using Canva’s Beat Synch feature
• Exporting a polished slideshow ready for sharing

Bring your own images or use Canva’s free stock content. No prior video experience required. Canva Pro accounts will be provided for use during the session.
