Description

THIS IS A TWO-PART WORKSHOP

Sessions take place on September 16 and September 23.
Participants should plan to come to both sessions.

Learn the basics of the open-source software Blender in this introductory course!

In this course, you will learn...

  • How 3D models can support your work
  • How to navigate Blender’s workspace
  • How to identify different elements
  • How to design a 3D model
  • How to color your models
  • How to export a final image.

This course is geared towards beginners, and by the end of the workshop you will have the skills to be more independent in your work.

There are a limited number of workstations for this workshop. Please register to secure your space.

You don't have to be a member to take a Media Factory workshop.
But, if you're interested in becoming a member take an orientation and learn how to use our studio space, access our equipment, and borrow gear!

All are welcome to participate. Workshop donations allow us to offer all of our programming for free while supporting community media programming.
